Wolves have always fascinated me, even as a child. My love for these mysterious and beautiful animals manifests itself through the appearance of them in many of my works--be it drawings, sculptures, or writings. As a child I even remember vivid dreams of myself as a wolf, the feeling of wet grass under my paws from the morning dew, my claws buried beneath the soil, the wind against my fur. They will never cease to capture my imagination and fill my thoughts, I will be ever enthralled on the point of obsession.
Spirit Wolf /
One of the creatures that lived in the Spirit Kingdom called a Spirit Wolf. Although it looks menacing, they were creatures of mischief and had a tendency to play with humans. It is thought they were the souls of prisoners of the kingdoms who finally escaped their confined cells when they died and, in their afterlives, chose to play as they could not have done while trapped behind bars.
Soluna /
The continent Soluna where all the kingdoms rule. Sketched on paper and outlined to define the lines (the Ice Kingdom was the only one I free handed the top part of in Photoshop). On a side note, my hand ending up taking two journeys along the borders of all the kingdoms.
